Event Host Bob Maxwell, (right), awards amateur John Catarino from Rocky Hill, CT, with the

Championship Trophy for his fine play at Gillette Ridge Golf Club. Catarino birdied the difficult 18th

hole to win by a shot over Jack Bracken. Bracken, playing out of Avon, CT,

tallied a triple bogey on the finishing hole.

Advisory Board Member, Michael DeMetro, (left), congratulates Mark LaRocco.

Despite a triple bogey finish, LaRocco was able to fend off Tad Costant by a stroke,

and took home the first place Professional winner's check.

Chris Maxwell, (left), accepts the New England Golf Tour Championship Trophy from

Event Host, Bob Maxwell. Chris Maxwell (amateur) birdied holes 4, 5, 7, and 9 to gain

a comfortable lead over the rest of the field and cruised in with a two shot victory.

Haverhill, MA resident, Tom Smith won low Professional at the New England Golf Tour's

visit to Gillette Ridge Golf Club. Smith finished 3 shots ahead of

2nd place Professional John Vitale, from Bristol, CT.
